Hello, my name is Jaime Surrett. Welcome to my comfort zone.
I’m Jaime Surrett. I’m a Midwest born, Southwest living mom of two amazing daughters. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart since I was 19 and we’ve been navigating life’s (mostly)ups and downs together since 1997. I worked full time as a stay at home, homeschooling mom until my oldest daughter graduated high school in 2018. Now, in my second act, I’m a (mostly) work from home wife & mom who still loves all things domestic and yes, comfortable.
So many people make such a big deal about “getting out of your comfort zone.” But, what if there was a way to expand our comfort zones so we could live in a way that pushed the boundaries without leaving us, well, uncomfortable. For me, comfort begins at home. I’m most comfortable working from home, decorating my home (especially for the holidays), making comfort food, reading a good book, eating or drinking anything that involves pumpkin spice and being with my people.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me in my sexy sweats (that’s the what the hubs calls them), watching Hallmark, baking something or planning my next DIY project…for the hubs to complete.
